In response to the recent music studio displacement in Brighton, we’re offering you equipment storage in our warehouse and access to our hourly studio.

⭐ WE’RE EXPANDING

We are growing and there will be newly built studios available to you in March/April. All studios have double studded walls and come with track lighting, carpet, storage lofts and acoustic panels.

There is private parking, load ramps, freight elevators, wifi, air conditioning, an event space, a booking agent and much, much more.

Sound Museum musicians told to vacate Brighton facility by end of January

Never good news to hear bands are displaced.

'Our lease expired in July and we will not be given any further use of the building past January 31', the Sound Museum writes.

The Middle East has been the heart of Central Square for over 50 years, and the Sater Family is pleased to announce that the Middle East will remain the heart of Central Square for another 50 years! Over the coming months, we and our team will present a plan to improve the Middle East, in cooperation with CSQ Realty, to include a two stage music venue, a modernized restaurant and event space, and a lounge, as well as a hotel and retail space. We are excited to show our vision for the future of our venue and the plan to move forward as the center of arts, culture, and entertainment in the heart of the Central Square Cultural District.



The Middle East plans to remain open until such time as the planned renovations are to take place, which we currently expect to occur no earlier than 2024. While there may be a short interruption during the redevelopment of the space, rest assured that the Middle East will remain the venue that our customers, performers, friends, and neighbors have come to love for years and decades to come. We look forward to working with the community, our stakeholders, and the City of Cambridge to realize that vision and preserve the energy of the Middle East and the culture of Central Square.
