Radio Free Otaku

Radio Free Otaku Welcome to my page of my radio station Radio Free Otaku and WPTSC on Radio.co! On weekends, we go Indie music from all over on WPTSC!

We play anime & game songs spanning five decades and boasts a wide variety from our massive music library . After a failed first time effort, and with the help of a new server, the First State’s first, and thus far, only anime radio station was born. Anime was and still has a growing fanbase with the help of anime clubs, cons, and podcasts. Even internet radio became a major part of spreading arou

nd the love of anime. That day on July of 2016, DJ Otaku Idol put Radio Free Otaku on the airwaves! The station featured opening and ending theme songs from popular anime shows and even some that were either little known or none at all. As the listeners grew, so did the programming at Radio Free Otaku. They soon featured music blocks of different genres (i.e. - comedy, action, ecchi, harem) and even included a block of music from hentai! In addition to openings and endings, Radio Free Otaku also added Insert songs. There were fans of the old school anime music, so Radio Free Otaku listened, and included songs featured in 60’s and 70’s anime. The listeners are treated to music from anime that have gotten very little notice or just plain ignored. Radio Free Otaku hasn’t forgotten about the fans of current anime music, so they update their ever growing music library with current and classic musical goodness. Since 2016, Radio Free Otaku has gained a global audience, gaining listeners from Japan, Germany, Finland, Russia, as well as it’s home base in the US. As long as there are fans of anime music, Radio Free Otaku will continue to thrive and grow. Radio Free Otaku will always be playing anime music...from the classics to the current!! https://streaming.radio.co/s8267e5edc/listen
