Canadian Folks 🇨🇦 This will be the first year I’m leaving the pool set up. Other than emptying the pool. What are we doing to “winterize” our pools???
I’ve been putting up and taking my pool down for the last 10 years . But this year we built it up and set the pool up . Then buried the base in sand. Kinda don’t want to take it out now.

Hello my fellow pool peeps! Hear me out, Question for you guys! What do we think about leaving the pool ladder in the pool laying down on its side all winter long for storage! I have limited storage space and I figure half of it already spends half of its life in the pool water already! So why not just laying it on the side in the pool and cover the pool for the winter!🤷‍♂️ First time pool owner!

We have had this pool for about 6 years. This year we have developed a yellow ring around the edge and in the body areas on the liner. It will not come off/ brush off . It is not algae & The chemicals are spot on. We have salt water. The pool company thinks it might have something to do with the chemicals? Anyone?

Pool season 2025 is a wrap. Great season, calling for night lows in the 40’s here in Northern Ohio…closed her up today.

Well, after eight weeks of scraping and taping, sealing and painting, my summer project is finally ready for that traditional kickoff celebration of the summer season: Labor Day!. 🤣
Five gallons of paint and sealer, and untold hours on my hands and knees, I’ve finally finished. No point in any before & after pics; the camera didn’t seem to pick up on the weathered condition it started in. We moved in a year ago in May, and banging out this project has somehow given me a true sense of ownership, for at least this part of the house. I now feel like I know every square inch of this deck and railing, for what that’s worth.

Just bought a house and it has an above ground pool that hasn’t been open since last summer. We would love to open it for a few weeks left of summer and just to make sure everything is okay under the winter cover. Any ideas, tips or tricks for a new pool owner?
