🍤 Banks’ Farmers Market Food Critique Series – Episode 4 🍤

As Banks the Beach Pup, I felt it was only appropriate that Episode 4 featured something from the sea. 🌊

Friends… the second Mom opened the shrimp, I knew I was in trouble. The smell was INCREDIBLE. 🤤

I tried my very best to be a good boy and wait for my release word. I really did. But let’s just say I may have inched forward a tiny bit… maybe stretched my neck a little… perhaps tested the boundaries of the wait command. 😇

But I caught myself and got back under control because a professional food critic must maintain some standards.

Once I finally got the go-ahead, that shrimp disappeared faster than a seagull stealing a beach snack. 🍤💨

Final verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As Banks the Beach Pup, I can confidently report that shrimp is worthy of the coastal lifestyle. Mom says this was my toughest taste test yet because it smelled so good.

Special thanks to my buddy Will for recommending I try shrimp. Excellent suggestion, my friend. You clearly understand the sophisticated palate of a growing beach pup. 🐾😎

🌿🍽️ Banks’ Farmers Market Food Critique #3 🍽️🌿

Tonight’s taste test: CILANTRO!

Mommy was absolutely convinced this would be the first farmers market food I wouldn’t like. Well, I proved her wrong. 😎

Now, let’s be clear… was it as amazing as cantaloupe? Nope. Was it as addictive as those little blueberries that explode in your mouth? Also no.

But would I eat it again? Absolutely. 🌿🐾

I gave it several taste tests just to make sure. My official review: not a top-tier snack, but still a fan. Now if someone could wrap it in a taco, I think we’d really be onto something. 🌮👀

🫐 Banks’ Farmers Market Food Critic Series – Episode 2 🫐

Today’s review: BLUEBERRIES.

Friends, I have discovered something very important… these tiny blue balls are HIGHLY addictive. 😳🐾

At first I thought, “Surely one blueberry will be enough.”

It was not enough!

One turned into two. Two turned into five. Five turned into “Mom, excuse me, I believe you’ve forgotten to continue feeding me.”

The best part? They EXPLODE in your mouth! 💥🫐 One little chomp and BOOM—juicy deliciousness everywhere. I was not prepared for that level of excitement.

⭐ Taste: 10/10
⭐ Mouth Explosion Factor: 12/10 💥
⭐ Rollability across the floor: 11/10
⭐ Ability to convince humans I need just one more: 15/10

I waited like a very good boy until I got the “okay,” but after that there was no turning back. Let’s just say Mom had to cut me off before I tried to eat the entire container. 😂💙

Mom and Dad brought home a whole haul of fresh goodies from the farmers market, and naturally they appointed me Chief Taste Tester. It’s a big responsibility, but someone has to do it. 😎

Today’s featured snack: 🍈 CANTALOUPE 🍈

I demonstrated excellent self-control by waiting until I was told I could eat it. (Please ignore the intense staring and excessive drooling. That’s part of my process.)

My official review:

🍈 Flavor: Excellent
🍈 Texture: Delightful
🍈 Juiciness: Top-notch
🍈 Would I eat it again? ABSOLUTELY.

Final Score: 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I immediately requested a second serving. Mom says that’s called “begging.” I prefer to call it “providing honest feedback.” 🤷‍♂️😂

While some pups are outside melting in the summer heat, I spent my afternoon in the AC working on my fitness goals. 💪🐾

Today’s lesson: “On” and “Off!”

When Mom and Dad say “on,” I step up on my stool. When they say “off,” I step right back down. Sounds easy, but the real challenge is holding my position until I’m released. That’s where the muscle-building and brain power come in! 🧠✨





I may only be one year old, but I’m learning that being a good boy takes practice, patience, and plenty of snacks. 🍪😎

My brand-new Ruffwear Float Coat just arrived, and I take that as a sign that it's officially time for MORE SWIMMING! 💦😎

Mom says it's for safety. I say it's for maximum fun water and bigger adventures. 🏄‍♂️🐶

I've already got my beach route planned, my Chuckit Fetch Games ball ready, and my zoomies fully charged. The only thing missing is my swimming crew!

Mom and Dad took me to Banks Channel tonight for a sunset swim with my buddies Stella and Sebby. 🌅💦

Now, I know what you're thinking... was I named after Banks Channel? 🤔

The answer depends entirely on who you ask. 😂

What I do know is that I had an absolute blast. I splashed, I swam, I chased my friends, and I made sure everyone knew I was having the time of my life. Being in the water with my furiends while the sun set over the channel was pretty pawsome. 🐾

I'd say my first swim at Banks Channel was a success. I think I should probably go back tomorrow just to make sure. 😎🌊
