* Don’t 👻 ghost us. Pull up with your music 🎼, water, comfy kicks 👟, & of course your instrument 🎺 🎷 🪈. We’ll be working on our moves + music for the 4th of July Parade. It’s gonna be a vibe & super productive.

While summer is in full swing, band students persist in their musical pursuits. Beginner Marchers participate in "fish" camp to learn the fundamentals of marching and playing their instruments. While percussionists refine their rhythmic accuracy at Percussion Camp.

Let's Rally Around a Texan Soccer Athlete and Band member

This past Friday, one of our dedicated Texan Soccer Athletes and Band members, Christian Zavala, suffered a serious head trauma. While he is making progress on the road to recovery, the journey ahead remains challenging. As a close-knit Texan community, we have the opportunity to come together and support him in this critical time.

Congratulations to the Texan Band on straight ones again!

On Wednesday the Wimberley HS Texan Band performed at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest in Bastrop. The band performed incredibly and came away with a Sweepstakes award. First division from all six judges (three for concert and three for sight-reading). Congratulations to the students and directors for working so hard on a challenging performance!

This makes the seventh year in a row for "straight ones" in marching, concert and sight-reading for the Texan Band.
