I want to start by congratulating Brad Bonnell on being reelected to the County Council District 1.

This campaign has been a tremendous learning experience, and I cannot begin to thank everyone who supported me throughout this entire process. Your encouragement, conversations, and support meant more than I can put into words.

I will continue supporting the people of Pulaski County, learning more about the issues that matter to our community, and helping hold our elected officials accountable to the people they serve.

Voting is one of the most powerful ways we can shape the future of our community. It’s how we make our voices heard on the issues that matter to us—schools, public safety, local development, and more.

Every election, especially at the local level, has a direct impact on our daily lives. The decisions made today will affect our neighborhoods, our families, and the opportunities available tomorrow.

No matter your background or beliefs, your vote matters. It’s a chance to stand up for what you care about and to take part in something bigger than yourself.

If you’re eligible, take the time to learn about the candidates and issues, and make a plan to vote. Whether you vote early, by mail, or on Election Day, what matters most is that you participate.

As you know, I am running for County Council District 1 and people have asked me, “Why are you running?” My answer is simple: I believe in doing what’s best for the people of our county. I want Pulaski County to succeed—not just today, but for years to come.
We can’t change what has already happened with solar projects, but we can take responsibility for how we move forward. I believe we must enforce stronger policies and procedures that better protect our residents while preparing our county for current and future projects that may come our way.
It’s clear that what we’re doing right now isn’t working. The division between officials and the people is a wake-up call we cannot ignore. Recently, I took time to drive across Pulaski County, and what I saw was concerning. I don’t agree with how these projects have been handled, and I believe we can, and must do better.
We need transparency. We need understanding. Most importantly, we need leadership that supports and protects the people.
By running for District 1, I’m committing to listening, learning, and taking action. While I may not have been involved in past decisions, I am here now—and I’m ready to work for you.
