Sneak Peak: Don’t miss out on these important details!
Our South African Food and W**e Festival is coming up on September 19th.
There will be two ticket tier options for w**e tasting, that also include South African foods and appetizers, and education about the terroir, w**emaking, and cuisine of South Africa and not only why it matters to us, but how it influences what we do at Patti’s Place and LGWF.
Here is a little snapshot of a couple of the featured w**es that will be available for tasting on that day. The Nebukadnesar is such a lovely and bold expression of a Cab blend, and in our experience, no one makes Pinotage better than South Africa. We hope that you join us at the event, and give one or both of them a try!

Explorer Tier $45 - Try our lower tier w**es and enjoy the food offerings.
Globetrotter Tier $75 - Access both the lower and higher tier w**es, as well as the provided food.
*Ticket options are also available for children, and for anyone who will not be participating in the w**e tasting portion of the event.

ZA Fest Sneak Peak: Babylonstoren Nebukadnesar - A carefully orchestrated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. This specific composition allows the Cabernet Sauvignon to provide a robust backbone and graphite edge, while the significant Merlot component adds a plush mid-palate, and the Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc contribute spicy aromatics and deep color. This full-bodied, dry red is from the Simonsberg-Paarl region, offering a sophisticated “New World Bordeaux” profile that balances power with elegance. Named after the Babylonian king, the w**e commands attention with its structural integrity and depth, yet remains approachable and vibrant.
