Beast mode activated ✨

Breathing life back into these 200+ year old bones one messy, meaningful step at a time.

Old homes carry stories… and we’re honored to keep this one alive.

What am I doing?

I’m not outside, but it feels like I am.

The ground isn’t ground...at least not for long.

What’s unseen matters most right now.

What am I working on?

Put your guesses down below and don't spoil it if you know 😉

We braved the cold and rain today for Lilly’s first college visit at the East Texas A&M University… and we survived.

It was fun, exciting, and a little heartbreaking all at the same time.

Watching her step closer to her future reminds me just how fast these years go.

So proud of the woman she’s becoming.

Standing beneath the Enola Gay...

The original aircraft that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima is something you don’t just “see”… you feel.

When I was younger and attending Japanese school, I was raised learning about Hiroshima from the perspective of the families, the children, the city that carried the weight of that day.

It wasn’t just a date in a textbook... it was personal, emotional, and human.

If you know me this is a hard topic but I welcome the knowledge and conversation over it.

To stand there, face to face with the very plane that changed the world forever, was deeply impactful.

It reminded me how powerful history is when you’ve been taught to see it through more than one lens.

Moments like this are heavy but they matter.

Because understanding both sides of history shapes compassion, perspective, and the way we move forward.
