if there's one thing i love it's a good, old-fashioned sing-along song! kitty and i have been having a lot of fun lately digging back through old songbooks, remembering some of our favorite songs from the good ol' days. and today's song is a classic: "take me out to the ball game"!
there's something so nostalgic about this tune, and about baseball in general... don't cha think?
so, here 'ya go, just in time for summer: a new zinghoppers sing along video, all about baseball. i got to sing, play my guitar and kazoo, and was joined by my buddy "oatmeal the friendly monster", who might just be voiced by kitty! hehe.
so, if you have a kiddo that loves sports, or if your fam is like ours and loves a good singalong then this is the video for you. even better? this tune works great during the middle of the 7th inning! lol. hope y'all like watching this one, we sure had fun making it!
Let's have fun playing baseball! Jack and Oatmeal the Friendly Monster need your help singing along with this classic baseball song! Great for kids that love...

About
Jack and Kitty Norton are Emmy Award winning writers, audio artists, filmmakers and musicians. Married high school sweethearts, the duo runs a publishing and production company called Norton Family Media.
As filmmakers, their corporate video production clients have included: The Pentagon (US Department of Defense), MTV, Disney Channel, Interscope Records, Island-Def Jam Records, KidzBop, Sony, Chick-Fil-A, Whole Foods and Justin Bieber. Although Jack prefers life behind the camera, he is an actor and his work includes credited roles opposite Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern in Wilson (2016) and an unfortunate stint as a prisoner in the Tom Six cult horror film The Human Centipede III: Final Sequence (2015).
Early in their career, Jack and Kitty co-created, co-directed, co-wrote and co-starred in The Zinghoppers Show, a children’s television series which earned six regional Emmy Award nominations for Nashville Public Television and was broadcast on over 150 PBS member stations nationwide and in 175 countries on the AFN Family Channel and on Trinity Broadcast Network. Their 2015 feature length documentary film Jug Band Hokum, includes appearances by Garrison Keillor, Charlie Parr and rap legends Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. The film had a successful run at major film festivals and independent cinemas around the world.
In addition to their work in film and television, the duo worked as performing musicians and have toured with Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, Dave Van Ronk, Leon Redbone and the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Appearing as "vaudeville-folk" duo Jack and Kitty, they performed in 19 countries for the US Pentagon, entertaining military families in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Jack and Kitty have performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC and at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2017, four original songs written and performed by Jack and Kitty Norton were featured in the Oscar nominated Willem Dafoe film The Florida Project (A24) by director Sean Baker (Tangerine) which debuted at the 49th edition of Cannes Directors’ Fortnight as part of the Cannes Film Festival.
Jack and Kitty Norton are prolific writers, publishing books across many genres from nonfiction (music business, motivation, musicology) to fiction (thrillers, mystery, horror), poetry and memoirs.
Kitty's 2018 memoir, The Unbecoming, was an Amazon Best Seller for four weeks. Kitty had found success while still in high school as a session vocalist at Prince’s Paisley Park Studios, and was signed to a recording contract before she graduated. What looked to be a promising career in pop music was cut short by a debilitating car accident. Bedridden for over a year, the former cheerleader and model had ballooned to 515 pounds. The Unbecoming documents how this disabled, stay-at-home, self-employed, and depressed lady lost 345 pounds…completely naturally: without any gimmicks, surgeries, pills or fad diets.
In 2019, the Jack and Kitty Norton released a memoir called Two Stalkers One Goal. In a story stranger than fiction, the inspiring book offers hope and healing for victims of stalking, cyberstalking, narcissistic abuse, gossip and bullying…all with more twists and turns than any Hollywood thriller.
Today Jack and Kitty are focused on what they love most: writing. They live with their girlfriend Jen and their cat Fritz in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
