Today, we remember.
Twenty-five years have passed since September 11, 2001, but time has not diminished the weight of that morning—or the lives, families, first responders, and communities forever changed by it.
We remember those who were lost. We honor those who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape it. We remember the courage, compassion, sacrifice, and humanity that emerged in the darkest of hours.
May we never allow the passing of years to turn remembrance into routine.
On this Patriot Day, we pause with gratitude, reflection, and respect.
September 11, 2001 — Never forgotten.
