If you were unable to purchase a copy of my first CD “Way Over Yonder” back in 2022, I do apologize! I believe I reached everyone but there are only a few beyond NC that may not have reached if I haven’t seen you in a while!

(I like to call this CD a little bit of an appetizer/sampler in retrospect. There’s a lot above this 10 song album, and I am impatient to share more!)

I still sell this cd through underdog records, a local Winston record/cd shop that unfortunately closed its brick and mortar fairly recently, but still utilizes online orders. Mr. Jonathan ensures safe & protected delivery 🤘🏽

I know it’s been a while since a full album release, and truly damning I haven’t played a full show yet! However, I haven’t stopped creating, playing, singing, recording, while planning & learning the ropes of an emotionally cindered world.

Lil bit ‘O Carole King ☀️🍯

I love how songs can travel with, and follow you. They always bring you back for one thing and it’s always the feeling. And, the hyper-super thoughts of: NEED AN INSTRUMENT IN MY HAND STAT HOW DO I PLAY IT! but, that urge in itself is to understand the feelings and atmosphere the song brings.

I started listening to Carole King in 8th grade going into freshman year, and I was finding myself in a bunch of Facebook groups for artists I liked. Mostly older folks, but they all told their stories and memories. (I LOVE, it’s what fuels passion)
Many of them reminisced on these old tunes, specifically the Tapestry album by King, because it was a soundtrack to the revolutions of their lives and the environments around them.

Though I was 40 years later, this song was hugely inspirational and comforting going into my freshman year, which finds me and my generation in our own revolution of 2016… that plateau was tense, breeding the results of 2020. My senior year, where I found myself in an eating disorder under a global pandemic, as the illusion of an America began to fade and our collective trust in most everything experienced shatter into oblivion.

And, as I moved onto my own humble abode in 2022, the tapestry record played loudly on the one thing set up in my once empty home, now filled with four years of lived life and a helluva lot of self exploration & decoration.

The point I guess I’m trying to make, is that this life is ABSURD but can bring quite a bit of happiness by way of one 3 minute audio file that connects, that for a little while the realizations aren’t so harsh, and hope is able to breathe.

Happy Pride forever & Hello July!

The complexities of what being gay in the south and being different from most people I’ve known are a huge theme within my music, and artistic worlds.

There was a time when I clung to the reality of what being just a normal straight dood entailed. I tried so hard to keep that mask on but, there’s a point where the lie becomes a million thorns and you just can’t be quiet anymore.

With the right education, honesty & communication, genuinely, what is the issue…?

What’s left is just fear I feel & that can be sorted out with understanding and care.
