We’ve been a bit quiet lately. We’ve had a lot going on between my getting sick with another tick related illness, kicking off grade 2 of homeschooling, and more. One item that we’ve been working on throughout all of this was to get Mark a mobility scooter to help him with joining us on more adventures. Yesterday we had everything aligning right with everyone to be able to take it out for a good test at Orono Bog Boardwalk at Bangor City Forest.

Life Update:
I know we have been off routine with content a lot lately but we are hoping to get back on track soon. We have had a lot going on here behind the scenes with my battle with another tick related illness, creating our office/homeschool room, getting testing done for Teddy to submit with his new year paperwork (we are so proud of him!), two trips to Wiscasset Ford for a service for R2, ordering Mark’s mobility scooter and waiting for it to come, and more. We have been doing a ton of Pokemon Go lately and even I’ve gotten into it with the boys. A few more loose ends to tie up in August and then it will be full speed ahead with many exciting adventures near and far, theme parks and nature based. We hope you all are doing well! 🫶💜

Really odd day. We took our car to get its undercoat done, that we paid for when I bought it. They quoted it would be done at 2 PM. Gave us this loaner, a nice fun F150 we named Darth Vader. At 2, we were informed they forgot to take R2 in for his appointment. So they sent us home in Darth. We were told they’d drive our car to us and make the swap back, but didn’t claritfy when. I called twice to try to get better details. First call, no response. Second call, someone did talk to me. They then acted like nobody said they’d drive to us. But after getting my frustration for a bit, a guy did offer to make the drive to make the swap. I did get R2 back about 10 minutes ago. Long frustrating experience and I now have a very unfavorable opinion on Wiscasset Ford that I never thought I’d say.

Yesterday we joined Sam’s Club to help find good options for the household as well as for travel/adventures. Mark and I have been members before but yesterday was Teddy’s first experience. Fun times!

The boys came up with the idea that they wanted to film a piece on their Pokemon Go fun. Yesterday after we wrapped up homeschool for the day, we had a chance to film this episode. I think I’ll create a playlist for items like such where we highlight ways we “amp up” our adventures. Little additions to our adventures or perhaps favorite snacks or store stops or such.

After school & lunch, we went out for an outing around Corinna & Newport to film a little vlog about Pokemon Go. Then a few steps in at Walmart. Now a Dunkin stop before we head home. I already edited and uploaded the vlog. Available now to channel members, goes public at 4 AM. The boys are still at the Pokemon stuff 😂
