Personally, I LOVE the sound and feel of an outdoor concert. I grew up in Cincinnati, enjoying concerts in the park with Erich Kunzel at the helm, feeling their magic. Women's History Month:
Celebrating one of my earliest vocal influences long before I knew singing would be my life...Petula Clark!! Do yourselves a favor and go down the 'Pet' rabbit hole on Youtube!! I first heard her on the Goodyear LP Christmas album singing what has been my favorite Christmas song ever since! The clarity and storytelling in her voice is just so natural. But, if you've been lucky enough to see her act and sing...sakes alive is that a treat!! Enjoy!

In honor of Women’s History Month, here’s a great 20 minutes a jazz great, Hazel Scott. She fought for racial equality and justice in her every action, had her own TV show & like Josephine Baker, was betrayed by her country & found new success in Paris.

She was an amazing example of a strong, talented woman unafraid of standing up for herself and her beliefs. Enjoy!
