February meet up details are here and I’m so excited to kick things off at Toll Road Brewing Company 📚🍻

🗓 February 10
⏰ 6–8 PM

We’ll be gathering for our usual quiet reading time and connection, and we’ll also be doing a book swap to celebrate love month. To keep it on theme, please only bring romance books for the swap 💕

I also want to share an important update about how RSVPs will work moving forward. We will still be using Eventbrite, but I won’t be releasing the RSVP link until 7 days before each meet up. This change is meant to help reduce the high number of no-shows we’ve been experiencing and to better support me as the host, the businesses we partner with, and those who truly want to attend. Thank you so much for understanding as SBC continues to grow and evolve.

We have three meet ups in February:
• February 10
• February 18
• February 26

The February 26 meet up will be a smaller, extra cozy gathering with limited seating. Please mark your calendars and be ready to RSVP one week before each event.

📚 Silent Book Club – August Meetup! 📚

We’re meeting on Tuesday, August 12th from 6–8PM at Home State Brewing in Winter Garden!

The outdoor patio is reserved just for us…it’s dog-friendly, shaded, and a perfect spot to enjoy a summer evening with a good book and great company. (Please note: indoor space is for service animals only.)

📖 Bring whatever you’re currently reading, there’s no assigned book and no pressure to socialize if you just want to read. It’s all about relaxing and doing what you love, alongside fellow book lovers.

🍻 Bonus: BOGO on select beers on Tuesdays (not technically for us… but we’ll take it).
🍔 Food and non-alcoholic drink options are also available.

A quick heads-up: Parking is limited right now due to all the exciting new businesses opening in the plaza, so please give yourself a little extra time to find a spot. 🚗

📣 Silent Book Club: Audiobook Walk Edition! 🎧🚶‍♀️☀️

We’re switching things up this month with a peaceful audiobook walk! No tables, no chairs, just good books and fresh air.

📍We’ll meet at Axum Coffee, then take a quiet walk to the Butterfly Garden and back! About 1.4 miles each way (1 hour round trip).
🎧 Bring your current audiobook and your comfiest walking shoes, no small talk required (unless you want to!).

✨ This is a relaxed, solo but together kind of event perfect for getting outside, staying on top of your reading list, and enjoying a quiet moment with your book loving community.

Silent Book Club is back on Wednesday, July 16 from 6–8pm, and this time we’re getting cozy at Dreamy Tea, because nothing pairs better with a good book than a cold boba and some peace and quiet. 🫖📚

Here’s the deal:
No assigned reading.
No awkward icebreakers.
Just bring whatever you’re reading, grab a drink, and settle in for some glorious, uninterrupted reading time.

Space is limited and RSVP is required, so don’t sleep on it! This one’s gonna be extra dreamy. 💭💕

Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy an hour of quiet reading time no pressure, no assigned book, just your current read and good company.

🔄 BOOK SWAP:
Want to pass along a favorite or clear some space on your shelf? Here’s how the swap works:

✨ Bring as many books as you’d like no limit!
✨ If you bring a book, you get to browse the swap table first.
✨ Didn’t bring one? No worries you can still join in once the initial swap wraps up.
✨ Any leftover books will be donated to a local Little Free Library ❤️

Last night’s Silent Book Club at The Crooked Can was one for the books! 📚☔

The rain may have changed our plans a bit, but it ended up being the perfect backdrop for a cozy night of reading and connecting. There’s just something about a rainy evening, good company, and the hum of a local brewery that makes everything feel extra special.

We loved seeing some new faces and catching up with familiar ones! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a relaxing, fun evening. Can’t wait to do it again soon! 💬✨
