When someone lands on your LinkedIn profile, is there a reason why they should follow you?
That’s the real question at the heart of your personal branding — and one I challenged a room full of powerhouse women to think about during our LinkedIn personal branding workshop last week.
✍️LinkedIn has shifted—ditch the corporate robot voice and show your authentic personality
✍️Think value-first content: what can you share from your experience that Google or ChatGPT can’t?
✍️ Post links in the comments after you post, not in the body of your post. This significantly increases post performance.
✍️ Forget the hashtags—the keywords in your post are more important and can appear spammy.
✍️ Use the LinkedIn scheduler to stay consistent (whatever consistency looks like to you)
✍️Tighten up your profile pic, headline, and experience—this increases credibility, and people do, in fact, check.
Thanks, Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation, for having me, and for the fun headshot.
