Can anyone help Jennifer Comeau?

Can anyone help Jennifer Comeau?

It's a funny thing. I received this in an email from someone I don't know:
"I recently had the pleasure of reading A MOON IN ALL THINGS, and I want to congratulate you on creating such an atmospheric and heartfelt novel. Morrigan’s journey caught between the old ways of magic and the strictures of faith feels both timeless and deeply human. Your prose captures the rhythms of Irish village life with quiet beauty, and the novel’s reverence for nature, ancestry, and spiritual courage gives it a luminous, almost mythic quality.

What stands out most is how you balance intimacy and wonder: the subtle enchantments of the landscape, the aching realism of family and faith, and the gradual reclaiming of suppressed traditions. Morrigan’s connection to the divine and her defiance of rigid authority resonate as both personal and universal an inspiring reflection on the courage it takes to honor one’s truth in the face of conformity."

On the face of it, I was quite blown away by the endorsement. This reader really GOT ME and THE STORY!

In subsequent exchanges, it became evident that the person was a scammer, wanting to sell me author-supported ways of bringing my novel to more audiences, like meta-data optimization, Goodreads Listopia Placement, and the like. But no website that had his/her name as part of the team, and the endorsements seemed to be from best-selling authors who probably don't know they are part of a scam.

What to do?
I let him/her down by saying, although I need these kinds of measures to promote my novel, I will choose someone who has been highly recommended from within the writing community.

So I ask you, , or any : who helps you with these kinds of basic blocking-and-tackling efforts to help your novel be seen?

I've got two publicists who get me events and podcasts/radio interviews, but not who do the basics for my novel to be seen in socials and in the ways novels appear for readers online.

Thank you in advance.
And a PS - Shouldn't I be chuffed (thrilled) at the review that ChatGPT or other AI gave my novel? I'm torn....

This is a FABULOUS book, and is much darker than "A Fickle Tide," book one of a four-book series, which is also a FABULOUS book. Mind you, as the publisher, I'm not biased in any way. 🥸😎
