The Hoosier National Forest (Southern Indiana) has proposed a plan amendment that would close approximately 3 miles of Tower Ridge Road to motorized vehicles. This road is a well-used connector for ADV riders and off-roaders in the U.S. Forest Service - Hoosier National Forest and there aren't many places like it left in Indiana. If this amendment goes through, we lose another piece of legal, accessible riding.
The good news: they're required to take public comment, and comments are only open for 30 days from the notice's publication so get your comment in ASAP.

Tower Ridge Road is a valued route for the adventure motorcycling and off-road community in Indiana. Legal, well-maintained motorized routes like this one are limited in our state, and closures like this reduce opportunities for responsible recreation without a clear offsetting benefit to the forest or the public.
I ask that the Forest Service reconsider this closure and maintain motorized access to Tower Ridge Road as it currently exists.
