Helping to break the world record for the number of females all riding together while repping my Hogrock Adventure Rally jersey. As I fully expected I’m the only dual sport bike I’ve seen so far. Still rocking my dirt from the PA Wilds BDRX.

There's something kind of wild about putting 100,000 miles on a rig and then getting to walk through the factory where it was made. Thursday we tour the Thor Motor Coach factory in Elkhart and I honestly cannot wait. This thing has been our home away from home, our basecamp, and our adventure partner. Feels right to go see where it started.

People ask me all the time what the first thing they should learn to do on their own bike is. My answer never changes.

An oil change. That's where it starts.

You don't need a lift. You don't need a perfect garage. You need your bike, a few basic tools, and one free hour. That's the whole list.

I do mine on my Honda CRF 250L. And the first time I did it myself, something shifted. The bike stopped being a machine I just rode and started feeling like mine. Like I actually understood it.

That feeling is sitting on the other side of the thing you keep telling yourself you can't do.

If you've ever said "I'm just not mechanical," this video is for you. And if you've already done your first one, tell me what bike it was. I want to hear it.

Little Late to post this weeks video as we had some exciting stuff going on.

Some builds fight you. This one just clicked.

The middle drawer of my toolbox is the wrench drawer, and it came together exactly how I wanted it to. I organized two Icon wrench sets plus my Husky ratcheting wrenches, the fancy ones that ratchet on either side, so I needed a layout that could hold both types without anything sliding around.

The Gridfinity prints came out clean the first time. No backwards tracing, no lopsided inserts. After the drawer that gave me a fight last episode, I'll take a build that just works.

That's the part nobody warns you about when you're learning a skill. Some days you wrestle it, and some days everything lines up. Both days count.

Tell me which kind of day your last project was.

Sometimes you need to do it the “old fashion way” and not use your fancy rabaconda tire changing tool.

Used only tools I will have available on the upcoming BDR to make sure I was able to get the job done.

I went to the BBA with a metal staple used for plastic welding apparently in my tire and didn’t notice it until I was already on the ride Saturday. Staple lasted 200 ish miles that weekend somehow but obviously needed to be removed before it came out on its own on the trail.

The Trailer Built series starts today. 🔧
My motorcycle trailer has been "good enough" for a while now. And honestly, good enough gets the job done until you start planning a trip like Wildly Midwest 2026 and you realize you want it done right before you put real miles on it.
Episode one is the floor. We emptied the Durabull out, got down to the deck, and built it back up in three coats. Not complicated. Not fast. But it's solid now, and I know exactly what's under there.
If you've got a hauler you've been putting off this series is for you.

Went to the Berkshire Big Adventure this weekend and had a blast. Weather was perfect and my friend did an amazing job guiding the ride. Shoutout to her.
