None of them put a smile on my face quite like Uncle Jimmy’s 7.3.

She needs a fresh coat of paint, but you will put my casket in the back of this truck.

2025 iKon stress crack repair.

I was in a hurry to get this out the door last week and feel I didn’t get a good angle of the repair process.

This week flew by. I spent all day Thursday and Friday trying to color match flake for the ol’ Triton. I intend to be laying out pinstripes tomorrow.

‼️2025 Ikon stress cracks ‼️

Part 2: update and information

• Ikon agreed to repair these stress cracks.
(Before our last video was published)

• Non-Structural (cosmetic) stress cracks. These stress
cracks appear to have only affected the Gelcoat.

• Updated bolts, and changes to the manufacturing
process to insure thin gelcoat in the area have fixed the
problem.

As a fiberglass repair technician, I have seen all of the good and bad from every manufacturer. Every bass boat is prone to stress, cracks, and manufacture defects.

In my opinion, what makes a good manufacture is their customer service.

Kudos to for their outstanding customer service. Bryce, I appreciate your time and experience. Thank you, sir.
