Dear friends,

Thanks to your support, Gaja has been able to continue her treatment for serious burns. The journey is far from over, but she never gives up.

From the very beginning, Gaja faced a long and difficult recovery. Her scars required constant care, including compression garments, specialized ointments, and laser treatments. With each therapy, her skin became more flexible, and the scars began to improve.

Now, Gaja faces new challenges. She is undergoing evaluations for developmental disorders and receiving therapy for sensory integration and speech. Every day is a battle, but she shows courage beyond her years.

Your support has been essential. It allows Gaja to access therapies, medical care, and equipment crucial for her recovery. The work will continue for years as she grows, but every milestone—every small improvement—is a victory.

A simple afternoon became a nightmare for Marcel Polus. At just four and a half months, he toppled into a cup of scalding tea, burning nearly 30% of his body, including his face, neck, chest, and abdomen. His mother, Ewelina, rushed to cool his skin, but the pain and terror were overwhelming.

Rushed to the hospital, Marcel underwent intensive surgery, including skin grafts from his tiny legs. Recovery has been slow and painful, with daily dressing changes, specialized ointments, compression suits, and physiotherapy. Complications and infections challenged his fragile immune system, but Marcel shows extraordinary courage and resilience.

The family faces enormous medical costs and continues to need support for ongoing treatments and therapies. Every donation, prayer, and act of kindness helps Marcel heal, regain mobility, and reclaim a childhood filled with hope and joy.
