Really saddened to hear the news of Taylor Hawkins passing. I was lucky enough to cover both Foo Fighters (in Walla Walla of all places) and Taylor’s side project Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders during the ill-fated ChiveFest at Seattle Center.

Easily one of my favorite drummers of all time!

Photo below was taken when Foo Fighters played Gentleman of the Road in Walla Walla in 2015. Janice and I both covered that festival for SMI (Seattle Music Insider)
