Another county in our region is showing some love for trails! 👏

Thanks to the Caswell County Commissioners for recognizing the value trails bring to their communities and taking this important step toward advancing their local trail networks.

How does a resolution of support help?

It puts trails on the county's radar as a priority and can strengthen funding opportunities for future trail projects.

For those of us who love getting outside, that can mean new trails and more ways to explore down the road.

And here's our crew after the presentation, joined by our friends from Flying Disc Clubhouse and Friends of Caswell Trails.

We're excited to see what comes next for trails in Caswell County!

Alright, folks let's talk about our weather headlines this week! Cooler and slightly less humid air has moved in for most areas and will be around for Monday and Tuesday. We should have pretty tranquil weather with highs in the 80s and low 90s Monday- Wednesday. The best chance for a couple of isolated storms will be around Eastern/Coastal NC on Monday, but most areas across the state will stay dry.

Wednesday-Friday: We will see partly sunny skies turning more humid, with typical summer weather around highs in the 80s and low 90s, and a few PM storms each day.

The North Carolina weekend is looking good, with highs in the 80s and 90s and a few isolated storms around! I'll keep you posted all week. Have a great evening!
