Community Christian Choir

IT’S NOT TOO LATE -- COME SING WITH US!

The Community Christian Choir is just starting rehearsals for its 50th season of innovative, spirit-filled Christian music programming and is inviting new singers and alumni to join in the fun. Come sit in on a rehearsal to find out what it’s like!

The choir, made up of more than 100 children and adults, is known throughout Central New Jersey for its inspiring performances, filled with multimedia, sign language and dramatic touches to drive home to message of the Gospel.

The members will present a series of benefit concerts in December at several area locations. To date the choir has raised more than $259,000 for worthwhile area charities through their concert series.

The CCC is made up of singers from many Christian denominations representing more than 45 churches throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Church affiliation, however, is not a requirement for membership in the choir.

The choir has both adult and children divisions which sing a variety of music ranging from traditional to contemporary Christian music.

The children’s choir has divisions for children ranging from 6 years old to 12th grade. Singers are placed according to experience, ability, and commitment to ensure each singer’s success. The children’s divisions rehearse Sunday afternoons and evenings at the Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ. Rehearsal times can be found on their website www.ccchoir.com.

The adult choir is not auditioned and has three divisions to accommodate rehearsal commitments and experience. Rehearsals are Friday evenings at the Hamilton Square Presbyterian Church, 3550 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.

Practice tracks are provided for registered singers. Music reading ability is helpful but not required.

For more information about the Community Christian Choir, registration forms, video links, and more visit the choir’s website at www.ccchoir.com or e-mail [email protected] or call 609- 587-7076.

The week spent at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio to re-certify my training in Somatic Voicework(tm) The LoVetri Method was amazing and so worthwhile!

I've been blessed with a growing number of voice students and taking these classes again is a powerful affirmation of the teaching I am blessed to do!

I'm really looking forward to working with returning students as well as new students in the fall!

How Music Training Speeds Up Brain Development In Children

New Piano Classes will be offered in the Fall for:

"Sunshine" -- Ages 3 1/2 - 5

"Sunbeam" -- Ages K - 2nd grade

"Moonbeam" -- Ages 2nd - 6th grades

Classes follow the "Music for Young Children" curriculum designed to help create well-rounded musicians who can play piano, read music, feel music, work together -- and just be more "whole" human beings.

Music training during childhood, even for a period as brief as two years, can accelerate brain development and sound processing.

Groveville/Yardville Memorial Day Committee

PRESS RELEASE
MONDAY MAY27,2019 IS DECLARED "A DAY TO REMEMBER" by the Yardvile/Groveville Memorial Day Committee. This year marks the 149th annual Yardville/Groveville Memorial Day Parade which is believed to be the second oldest Memorial Day Parade in the United States. The 1870 historic parade began in 1870 just two years after Memorial day was first observed at Arlington National cemetery as Decoration Day. The parade steps off at 8:30 am on Monday May 27, 2019, forms on Sunnybrae Boulevard and proceeds to South Broad Street to Yardville Allentown road. Right onto Route 156 then left onto South Broad Street, proceeds into Groveville with a right onto Main Street and then into the Groveville United Methodist Cemetery via Church Street. Although the parade route has been modified over the years, it has always ended at the cemetery and is followed by a brief Memorial Service. Saint Vincent DePaul Church will provide after the parade refreshments including coffee donuts, hot dogs and more in the auditorium after the service.
IN THE EVENT OF RAIN , THE CEMETERY SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE SAINT Vincent DePaul AUDITORIUM AT 9:00am
On Memorial Day, which is the unofficial stat of summer, the parade Committee encourages everyone to watch this historic parade, proudly fly the flag of the United States and remember those servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the freedoms that we enjoy!

446 E. Camden Ave. https://www.meetwithgod.com/

SATURDAY, May 4th, 7 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public. A love offering will be collected to benefit the church's mission projects.

See what audience members have to say about the "Who Am I?" concert series which opened on 4/28/19 at the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church:

“the songs touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. I have a few friends who have been fighting cancer and other physical disabilities over this past year and the Who Am I theme gave me strength to pray in a different way for them. Thank you for your ministry, Best, MaryB”

The opening concerts Sunday were absolutely beautiful!!!! Everyone loved it!!! Thank you, Sharon

The concert was wonderful and what a great message! We enjoyed all of the youth choirs, but thought the young men were especially good. Congratulations on another great concert season. Judy
