I was doordashing and the instructions were very precise so I kno I was at the right house. As I saw the table the people told me to leave the food on, there were other orders. Many orders. Maybe around 5,6? From different places but never touched. Some were a few days old and rotting. Untouched Starbucks coffees, orange juices bags of food. So I wonder why. Maybe they’re elder and don’t remember ordering food and it just sits outside? Altho when I messaged them I was on the way they replied thank you. Then I thought was it a set up for drivers? Or maybe setting up an alibi? No idea but i got out if there fast. I did take a picture of the table showing the food but nothing else.

MAN DEMANDS £150 NIKE TRACKSUIT AFTER SPILLING OWN COLA READING LOGO ON CUP

A 25-year-old man is demanding a full Nike Tech tracksuit after tipping a cup of cola over himself while trying to read the name of a café printed on the side.

Witnesses say the man slowly rotated the cup almost sideways to make out the logo, before immediately pouring the drink down his own grey tracksuit bottoms.

Despite admitting the spill was “technically his fault,” he claims the café should compensate him with a brand new £150 outfit.

“My bottoms are ruined,” he said. “Yeah they were only a tenner off Shein, but that’s not the point. I shouldn’t have to suffer like this.”

Café staff described the incident as “one of the most unnecessary self-inflicted spills we’ve ever seen,” adding, “We’re considering printing the café name on the bottom of the cup instead.”

Given that I had already shown my appreciation for the service, I felt that these comments were unnecessary. I brought the matter to the server's attention, pointing out the tip amount and suggesting they review the receipt. Nothing quite prepares you for the moment when the highway itself gives you life advice. Most signs are polite and practical, telling you about exits, speed limits, or construction ahead. Then suddenly you see a giant digital message board that simply says “AVOID KALAMAZOO.” No context, no explanation, just a bold suggestion from the road. It feels less like traffic information and more like a warning from a friend who has seen some things.

The funny part is that I was already planning on avoiding it anyway. Now it feels like the road and I are in complete agreement about my travel plans. When the highway and your instincts line up like that, you know you are making the right choices. Somewhere out there a GPS is quietly recalculating routes while this sign is out here speaking its truth. It is rare to receive such direct encouragement from public infrastructure.

Imagine the meeting where someone approved this sign. A group of traffic engineers sitting around a table discussing the most important message for drivers today. Someone raises their hand and says we should probably just tell people to avoid Kalamazoo. Everyone nods slowly like it is the most logical thing they have heard all morning. The motion passes and the sign lights up for the world to see.

Meanwhile the sky is bright, the road is open, and traffic is moving along peacefully. The cars ahead are cruising like they also received the same helpful life advice. Nobody is questioning the message because sometimes the highway simply knows best. I stayed right on course and continued driving forward with confidence. Kalamazoo may be out there somewhere, but today it will remain successfully avoided.
