Some of the best conversations happen around a table. In September, partners from Stroll and BeLocal York gathered at Tutoni's in Downtown York for an evening of food, hospitality, and community networking.

Guests enjoyed roundtable discussions on local business trends while savoring scratch-made Italian specialties like artisanal charcuterie, crispy zucchini with Caputo Brothers Creamery ricotta, and fresh hand-rolled pasta. Owner Tony Calderone shared how his family's Sicilian roots inspire their authentic farm-to-table menu in this month’s edition.

From the Desk of Resident Contributor Rod Brandstedter: Manchester Township has several important updates for residents this season.

Before starting a home or property project, be sure to check permit requirements and receive approval before work begins. Residents should also stay alert for permit email scams, verify unexpected payment requests directly with the township, and never send permit fees by wire transfer.

There’s community fun ahead, too! Fun Fest will bring carnival games, food trucks, live music, contests, a patriotic dog parade, and fireworks to Cousler Park.

Learn more on pages 22 and 23 of your September edition!
