Its violet syrup season!!!

Grab as many of those cute purple ladies as you can.

You'll need:
1 cup violets
1 cup hot water
Patience
1 cup sugar
A couple drops of lemon juice!

Once you pick them, pinch off any green. Throw them in a mason jar, and pour hot water over them to steep overnight. The next day, strain your flower water & pour the infused water into a pot. Add one cup of sugar & simmer until all sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice one drop at a time until it becomes the color you want.

Pour your violet syrup into a jar & viola! You can add to cocktails, mocktails, lemonade (ft my favorite below!) pancakes, desserts, the options are endless!
