I’m tipping my hat to YOU, Youngstown!! And NO, I am not moving again😂, NOR is this account over! I (Macey) am just moving on to my next adventure.
I started working in social media in 2022 and it quickly became a huge passion of mine. 🤳
🧠 I had the idea to start Stuff to do in Youngstown when I made the decision to move back home after 5 years away.
This account became a way for me to reconnect with my hometown, while using my creativity in a way I didn’t get to at work. Planning this helped me navigate the mixed feelings of this major life change.
🫠 Now, as a local business owner and involved in several non-profits, I’m finding that I just don’t have the time to keep up with this account!
My passion is helping those vulnerable in our communities and my creative career, so I am overwhelmed with blessings to have received this much support so early on in my business, and to have so many opportunities to make an impact. 📸
My entire thought process behind this account was to highlight the local businesses but most importantly the incredible stories of the PEOPLE behind them.
I hope that spirit still shines through in the content, even if I’m not around.💛
✨Here’s one last challenge I’d like to leave with you: don’t just enjoy the benefits of the events and activities happening around the Valley.
