Just like my last post about rapper and actress Eve she didn't know either until she found a doctor who was able to tell her. Ladies, please advocate for yourself and get the right diagnosis on your body. I got a hysterectomy and I feel great now but last year I couldn't say that. With July being Fibroid Awareness Month, let's talk about rapper, actress, and producer Eve. Eve informed us of her journey living with fibroids. Not knowing what was wrong and her numerous trips to doctors explaining how much pain she was in during her menstrual cycles. Finally, one doctor was able to inform her that she had fibroids. Anyone living, had them removed, or had a hysterectomy knows the jaw dropping feeling of hearing you have tumors growing either inside or outside of your uterus. Eve made the decision to have her fibroids removed in 2020, this procedure is called myomectomy. With the success of this surgery, Eve was able to give birth to her son Wilde, who is 3 years old.
