Y’all this Vanilla Bean Pound Cake healed something within me 🥹
Ingredients:
2 2/3 c sugar
3 sticks SOFTENED butter
6 tbsp oil
6 eggs (room temp)
3 tbsp vanilla bean paste
3c AP Flour
3/4tsp baking powder
1/2tsp salt
1c sour cream (room temp)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
-Mix sugar and butter on medium speed until fluffy and light
-add eggs in one at a time, scrape bowl after each egg then add vanilla paste
-in separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt
-on low speed begin alternating adding in dry and wet ingredients. Add some flour mixture, then half sour cream, then flour, and so on.
-mix until combined. Don’t overmix. Once combined use spatula to scrape sides and bottom.
-transfer to greased bundt pan and bake on 325 for 65-75 min depending on how your oven works.
-once a toothpick comes out clean it’s all done. Allow to cool in pan for 20 min then flip onto a plate!
***glaze is just 1c powdered sugar, 1tbsp vanilla bean paste, and add 1tbsp of heavy cream or milk at a time until you reach desired consistency. #337
