With 23+ cars entered for Indy fighting for 16 spots on race day and 5 qualifying sessions to get it done, we have been working on work area efficiency. Kevin built a front end tray and Rob built a clutch tray to hang off the roll cage. We have also built up our parts inventory because as our crew chief Johnny told us “we aren’t going to play” One week from today we hit the road to the biggest drag race of the year!

Keeping it legal. A new rule requires a ballistic blanket over the Chrisman rear differential by Sept 1st. Justin at Taylor Motorsports Products got it to us today and it fits great. We also made a pinion coupler cover to further protect Dylan in case of a driveline failure. Safety first NHRA

Busy weekend around here, Friday afternoon started with a bare block on the engine stand and Sunday ended with the engine in the car, all of our clutch inventory serviced, and we started building a cage mounted clutch stand for the clutch guys tools to make their job easier. Bill finished servicing the cylinder heads and we are getting close to being ready to head to Indy. On top of all that we found some time to celebrate Mom and Dad’s 34th anniversary and help my sister Lauren do some work on her new house. Back to work tomorrow to get some rest 😂
