First time out here in St.Louis
Had the opportunity to compete this weekend in a 10min Sub Only BJJ match .louis
We were able to put on a good show for the audience but ultimately neither of us got a submission and my opponent got the decision win.
This was my first time competing in a Jiu Jitsu match and I completely loved the process.
You might see me in more of these super matches from here on out cause that was a helluva time.
In fact, I’m already working on something else soon.
Stay tuned….im on my side quests era.
And lastly I had a seminar today and had a huge surprise.
St.Louis legend and #7 ranked Welterweight in the world came by and said hello and he got some rolls in with some of the people at the seminar.
He brought a great attitude and dropped some gems of truth and growth. It was a great conversation amongst other young martial artists and it was good to have him there. 🙏👊
Thank you to everyone that made this trip extremely special and fun for me.
You guys made me feel at home.
And special shout out to my boy for flying out from Houston to come corner me, it was planned at the very last minute and he happily obliged and came and was a great corner man. Thanks brother.
