In my opinion this is the best 1-2 punch for bait finesse and catching bigger than average fish on bait finesse.
Bait finesse fishing has become a much bigger part of my arsenal over the past 2 years and I have really experimented around with it. Originally when I started fishing bait finesse my goal was basically to just fish stuff that I normally do on spinning rods and just replace them completely. That’s exactly what bait finesse didn’t do. I still fish all of my normal stuff on spinning gear but only added to that with bait finesse.
With bait finesse I’ve toss just about everything you can think of and these 2 baits specifically are ones that have caught bigger than average fish when it comes to fishing with micro lures. The bladed jig is a Z-Man Fishing Products micro max chatterbait paired with a 4” Mach skooler that is cut way down. The jig is a Keitech USA tungsten football jig paired with a X Zone Lures stealth finesse craw. These 2 baits in particular have stood out as catching numbers of fish and size of fish on bait finesse gear. So if you find yourself struggling out on the water these would be the first 2 lures I’d pick up, especially if you’re not that into fishing things like a Ned rig, drop shot, or any of the other popular finesse techniques.
