Somewhere between the winding trails and the quiet rustle of leaves, the world softened. The noise I carried in my head slowly dissolved into the rhythm of waves brushing against ancient rocks. Time felt different here....slower, gentler, almost as if it was waiting for me to catch up with myself.
I sat on that wooden railing, not to rest my legs, but to finally pause the endless race within. Below me, the water shimmered like a secret the ocean wasn’t ready to tell. Boats drifted quietly, unbothered, as if they already understood what I was just beginning to learn...that not everything needs to be rushed, and not every moment needs to be captured to be meaningful.
The cliffs stood tall, carved by years I could never comprehend, reminding me that strength doesn’t shout...it simply endures. And above me, the branches stretched wide, filtering sunlight into fragments, like memories...some clear, some fading, all beautiful in their own way.
For a moment, I wasn’t thinking about where I needed to be next, or who I needed to become. I was just… there. Breathing. Existing. Letting the silence speak.
And maybe that’s the real journey...not the miles traveled, not the views collected, but the quiet realization that sometimes, the person you’ve been searching for is the one sitting still, finally at peace, in the middle of it all 🙏🏼.
