Anegada is Calling....We took a trip to BVI's most Northern escape and you should too! 🌊

Flat. Quiet. Barely eight meters above sea level and somehow one of the most extraordinary places in the Caribbean. The Spanish named it "the drowned island." We call it a really good reason to charter a boat. ⛵

Here's what you need to know:
🦩 The flamingos are REAL. Flamingo Pond on the north side is home to an actual thriving colony. Pink birds. Flat blue sky. Still water. Bring binoculars and just...stand there for a minute.

🦞 Lobster on the beach at Loblolly Bay. Big Bamboo and Flash of Beauty serve spiny lobster grilled over a wood fire with your feet in the sand. Order it in the morning. Eat it at sunset. That's just how fresh it is.

🎣 Bonefishing that serious anglers fly in for. Miles of untouched flats. Schools of bonefish averaging 6 to 8 pounds. Danny Vanterpool of Danny's Bonefishing knows these waters like his own backyard...because they basically are.

🚗 Rent a Moke and go nowhere in particular. One town. One road that loops the island. No wrong turns.

🍹 Stop at Tipsy's by Ann at Cow Wreck Bay. You'll hear the music before you see the bar. Plan a few hours. You will not regret it.

This is not a day trip. Anegada rewards the people who stay. Plan for at least two nights. Three is better. One is a tease.
