The Grove of Titans Trail is located near Crescent City, CA, inside of the Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park.
It’s a 1.5 mile trail that leads to and through ancient redwood trees that tower over the ground below.
The trail has a metal grate boardwalk featuring many stairs.

Our Oregon-to-Idaho road road trip confirmed somethin important. Sometimes you should get off the interstate.

After leaving Boise, we followed U.S. 30 through southern Idaho and discovered the Thousand Springs Scenic Byway—a 65-mile route through the Hagerman Valley with waterfalls, springs, Snake River Canyon scenery and six different units of Thousand Springs State Park to explore.

If you're road tripping through Idaho, we'd give this section considerably more time than your GPS suggests.
