Sometimes, I just like to take photos. I don´t take money for it in normal cases, as I am a professional videographer.

People always ask me: "How did I get into videography?"

To be honest, I never cared about video. I was 18, when I bought my first camera - not to film, but to take photos. I read books about how to take photos, and left away the part about videos in it, because "I will never shoot video anyway".

With 20, I played in a medieval band and also studied music. I still liked taking photos.

Finally, after 6 more long years, I travelled through South East Asia, my Mum came to visit me and I filmed the trip a bit, just for fun. While editing the video, I first felt the magic of video editing and fell in love with it.

From that moment, I finally brought my passion for sounds and visuals together and created videos. What I did before as a hobby, started to turn into my job and people paid me money for making their businesses look outstanding. Until now, I really enjoy telling stories.

Really funny story actually:
For the video, that I posted last week, I needed to find two models, THESE two models. The customer didn´t want to spend much money, so it was really difficult, to find any. After a long time searching online, I found Judith, a pretty Dutch woman. Finding a male model was way more difficult, noone wanted to do it.
Frustrated and down, I went to a restaurant, and thought about how I can manage to get a male model. Deep in thoughts eating my burger, it took me until I paid my meal, to ask that guy sitting alone at the table next to me. Such a random accounter, and he really agreed to help me! Unbelieveable!
David is also in a phase of his life, where he wants to try new things, and so he was open for what life (or in this case I) throw at him. Lucky me!! I found 2 good looking people, who helped me get this job done.
