Three weeks into island life and I finally walked ALL of Lamai Beach 🏝️

I ordered the exact same burger at McDonald's in 6 countries 🍔🌍

Costa Rica. Thailand. Hong Kong. Bali. Malaysia. Vietnam.

Same Big Mac… except it wasn't. The sauce changed everywhere we went — sweet in some spots, nice and tangy in others 👀

9 years abroad… and we're doing it again. 🌏

Fair warning: this one's a big one — 90 minutes of the full journey. 🍷🍺 Grab a bottle of wine, crack a cold beer or six, and settle in for the whole trek.

We're packing up our whole life in Da Nang and heading overland to Koh Samui — 2,000 km, two borders, three countries, and three very good dogs. 🐕

There are beers earned at the Laos border, a driver stranded us and drove 5 hours to the wrong border, and one very overdue bowl of khao soi. 🍜

Now we're stepping off the ferry, the tropical storm is rolling in, and it finally feels like home. ⛈️🌴
