The historic Haussmann apartment in Paris feels like stepping into a living museum, where classic lines meet a modern spirit. With high ceilings, large windows, and an abundance of natural light, every corner reveals refined elegance: from the undulating “Wave” sofa reminiscent of ocean waves, to the floor-to-ceiling oak library, and the sculpted white onyx in the bathroom, each detail celebrates the harmony between art and natural materials. A soft neutral palette of cream, beige, and blush allows ceramic pieces, sculptural mirrors, and pedestal forms to stand out, creating a space that feels both sophisticated and intimate, where every object tells its own story.

Under the designer’s touch, the Brisbane penthouse has undergone a stunning transformation - from plain white walls to a space bathed in bold color. Deep red tones extend across the ceiling, wall frames, kitchen cabinetry, and a Rosso Levanto marble island, creating a striking and distinctive focal point. A mix of metals, textured materials, and curated lighting adds depth and warmth to each functional area. There isn’t a single white wall in the project - every detail has been carefully considered to evoke a “good vibes only” atmosphere.

Amid the lively streets of Collingwood, the apartment of Cara Stizza and Mitch Jones feels like a warm pause between city rhythms. Once part of the historic Foy & Gibson factory, it now glows with soft light and quiet charm - every old brick still whispering stories of the past. They kept its raw textures, adding gentle touches of timber, stone, and pale hues to make it tender and calm. From a large suburban house, they chose to move inward - to a place where love lingers in every corner, and the joy of living simply together fills the home.

Original details are thoughtfully preserved, while each space is defined by distinctive colors. A curved sofa anchors the living area, enhanced by patterned rugs and iconic chairs for depth. The hallway and study blend handcrafted furniture with contemporary style, telling a story of art and design. The guest bedroom bursts with vibrant tones, while the serene master suite and spa-inspired bathroom offer pure relaxation.

The space is highlighted by reverse-painted glass ceilings, lacquered finishes, burr wood accents, and silk wallcoverings, creating a shimmering reflective effect. A focal point is the 3D plaster sun motif on the wall, evoking the trompe-l’œil aesthetics typical of Art Deco. Vieille du Temple is a 115 m² Haussmann apartment renovation in the Marais, Paris, reimagined with both character and modernity. The kitchen was moved into the living room, making space for two bathrooms with toilets: one connecting the hallway and guest/bedroom, the other forming a private suite in the master bedroom. The hallway, now open without partitions, is painted in glossy prune and lit by vintage plafonniers, creating depth and a visual flow. Built-in cabinets and a USM library are seamlessly integrated. Modern furnishings are carefully chosen to enhance and elevate the traditional Haussmannian elegance.

The apartment embodies a spirit of creativity, blending art with modern comfort. Its focal point is a striking red grand piano – both a work of art and the heart of harmony between music and décor. The kitchen embraces a bohemian, artistic style, featuring vibrant checkered flooring that evokes the atmosphere of an art café. The private bedroom connects seamlessly to the bathroom and walk-in closet, enhanced by a mural inspired by Alphonse Mucha, reflecting the homeowner’s personal aesthetic.
