[ MEDIA SUPPORT]
UNDER PRESSURE - formed by passionate young people, pursuing Metallic Hardcore
genre, founded on June 1st, 2024 in Saigon, Vietnam. The band currently has 5 members,
which contains 3 of the originals members: Dat Le (Drummer), Jackk (Lead Guitarist), Hieu
Minh (Bassist) and 2 newest members: Ares (V ocalist) and Uncle Trinh (Rhythm Guitarist)
On December 31st, 2025, Under Pressure had released “Omnipotent”, their newest EP.
Through this EP, we want to deliver the messages, emotions and spirits that are rarely
mentioned in common popular music. Inspired by wars through many centuries, each song in
the EP represents a perspective of each side in the war. For example, track #3 - “Dethroned”
is inspired by the words, the spirit of the resistance force, wanting to overthrow the tyranny;
track #2 “Seraph” is the perspective from the soldiers whose nation is being invaded, stand
tall and die for their birthland.
Our music is raw, bold and edgy, but like the name of the EP: ‘OMNIPOTENT’ - which
stands for ‘Absolute Power’, implying that behind the fierce sound, there are words of
encouragement towards a lifestyle of having an opinion, daring to speak up and act for what
you believe in.
