Closing One Chapter, Stepping Into the Next
As the year comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on everything it held.
The ideas we explored, the community moments we shared, the things that worked beautifully, and the things that challenged us deeply.
This year, we tried to build something meaningful.
A different way of learning.
A more hands-on, real-life approach to education and community.
A space shaped by curiosity, creativity, and connection.
Not all of it unfolded as we hoped, but all of it taught us something important.
As a family, we’re stepping into the new year with more clarity about what we want for our child and the kind of environment he needs to thrive.
We care deeply about learning that prepares children for the world they’re growing into - not through distraction or surface-level activities, but through meaningful experiences, responsibility, creativity, and real connection.
In the year ahead, our focus is on:
• continuing to develop values-led learning experiences
• nurturing small, intentional community where it feels right
• creating resources that support families who are thinking deeply about education and life
We do hope to welcome families who feel aligned with this vision - families who want to participate, contribute ideas, and build something together rather than simply attend.
We’ll also be launching a comprehensive guidebook for worldschooling and homeschooling families coming to Hoi An - bringing together our lived experience, insights, and reflections from over a decade here.
It’s intended as a supportive, honest resource for families navigating similar paths.
