𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐨 - 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫

𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐨 is an actor and model born in 1963 in Nara, Japan. When mentioning Masaya Kato, the audience immediately remembers his dashing appearance, warm voice, and talented acting style. Before becoming a professional and popular actor today, he was also a fashion model when he was a university student. He graduated from Yokohama National University (majoring in Education).

After working as a fashion model for many fashion magazines, the Tokyo Collection, and the Paris Collection, he made his debut as an actor in a leading role in a movie in 1988, appeared in domestic and international movies, and worked on Philip Morris's "Lark" global campaign before moving to Los Angeles in 1995. He moved to another place and studied acting and method acting in English.

In 2005, he returned to Japan to take up residence in RROTHER, directed by Takeshi Kitano. Since then, he has been actively involved in film, television, theater, and films with international directors. He has been a radio personality since 2013.

Since 2019, he has been appointed as Nara Prefecture's tourism ambassador. In recent years, he has also been focusing on his activities as a photographer and has been actively producing his own works.

Yumi Katsura was born in 1932 in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Kyoritsu Women's University with a degree from the Department of Apparel Science Studies. After moving to Paris, Katsura studied the techniques of haute couture in Paris at Les Ecoles de la Chambre Syndicale de La Couture Parisienne.

She opened her first bridal salon in December 1964 in Akasaka, Tokyo, Japan. At the same time, she also introduced to the public her first wedding dress collection show. 10 years later, she built a flagship store in Nogizaka. Yumi Katsura has published many books about bridal fashion, the most notable of which is "The Bridal Book" - the first Japanese book or "Yumi Katsura: Behind the Scenes" - the only book with an English version.

Thanks to her decision to participate in the Japan Fashion Fair in 1981, she expanded her business to potential markets such as the US, France, and the UK. Through this, several exclusive stores in the United States, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, and Neiman Marcus, purchased her dresses. The Yumi Katsura Bridal Museum was established in 1988 in Kobe, where authentic traditional wedding dresses from around the world are displayed.

She has been active in the fashion industry for over five decades and her designs have been featured in various shows and fashion events in many countries. During her working time, she received many prestigious awards such as the Triumph of Fashion Award, Foreign Minister's Award, The Wedding Garment for the New Generation Award, The Dalian Honorary medal, and became the first Asian member of the Haute Couture of Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana.

In the present day, she is highly respected in Japan as the head of several organizations such as the Federation of Asia & Pacific Bridal Associations, The Japan Bridal Association, Yumi Katsura International, Co. Ltd., & Katsura Yumi Wedding System, Co. Ltd.

Leslie Kee was born in 1971 in Singapore. As a child, he studied at Bukit Ho Swee East School and Victoria School in Singapore. One of the factors that influenced his decision to become a photographer came from the Minolta camera his mother gave him before she passed away when he was 13 years old. For a period of 6 years, starting when he was 13 years old, he worked at a Japanese electronics factory. He used his savings to move his life to Japan because this country brought many endless sources of inspiration to his life.

In 1997, he graduated with a degree in photography from Tokyo Visual Arts School. A year later, he was hired by Hong Kong City Magazine to do a cover photo shoot with the participation of Asia's No. 1 actor Takeshi Kaneshiro. Thanks to this opportunity, his skills and professional working style made a good impression on Vogue Taiwan, who asked him to become the first Asian photographer to contribute to the first Vogue magazine in Asia. He is also the first photographer to contribute to Vogue magazine for more than 2 decades from 1998 to 2020.

From 2001 to 2009, he moved to New York, represented by Jed Root Inc. In 2010, he returned to Tokyo and began traveling frequently between China, Paris, and New York to shoot editorials, commercials, and direct music videos and fashion films. Since 2011, he often goes to Paris with designer Yohji Yamamoto and his team, as the official film director and photographer for creating the key visuals and short films featuring both homme and femme collections of Yohji Yamamoto collections. After that, he was assigned by NHK to be the official photographer and film director for a 4-year project supporting the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Olympic Games, taking 2000 portraits of sports athletes and famous people in Japan.

During his career, he has taken portraits of many celebrities around the world such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Yoko Ono, Steven Tyler, Kate Moss, One Direction, Karl Lagerfeld, Jay Chou, Zhang Ziyi, Yoshiki, Jackie Chan, Ayumi Hamasaki and Yumi Matsutoya.

KURROCK is known as the first Vietnamese rock band in Japan. Launched in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan, the band is currently active with five members including 3 Vietnamese and 2 Japanese. During the first period, KURROCK made a strong impression on the Vietnamese community in Japan through covers of Pretender, Neko, and Điều Nhỏ Nhoi at live houses. The year 2023 is considered a brilliant milestone in his music career when they successfully released their debut album titled “KURROCK: Vượt”.

The 5 members of the band including KJO (Leader - Guitar - Piano - Producer), Sang (Bass), Daisuke (Drum), TroK (Vocal), and Remina (Vocal) have 5 unique personalities and impressive styles. In addition, KURROCK members all have the ability to self-compose in multiple languages and self-produce all audio and visual stages through the combination of Vietnamese and Japanese culture.

Although the band has only been established for a short time, KURROCK has performed many times at prestigious shows such as Club Citta, Guilty Live Stage, Countdown Ecopark music festival, Tho Symphony, Hiden, Busking Show, Vietnamese Festival South in Saitama,...
