Talofa Samoa 🇼🇸
The USA have just finished their 4-day Down Under tour here in Australia, playing the Aussie Spirit women’s team and winning all four games. But the results were never the main thing for me.
Some of the biggest stars currently in Softball attended. Pickens, Brady, Brito, Fouts and the list could go on and on...
What really stayed with me was seeing three Polynesian queens leading from the front,
Tiare Jennings, steady and reliable as always,
Megan Faraimo, bringing fire, heart, and intensity in the circle,
and Dejah Mulipola, in my opinion one of the best catchers in the world right now.
As a Samoan parent, moments like this hit deep. Our Polynesian girls need to see this. They need to see women who look like them, who carry our culture with pride, standing tall on the biggest stages. This is how belief is built. This is how pathways are opened.
These photos are from the weekend with some very lucky Samoan fans 🤍
Memories made. Dreams sparked. 🫡
Thank you ladies for leading the way and showing our kids what’s possible.
Fa’afetai and as Uncle Rock would say, FA-MAH-LOW-C Polynesian excellence forever. 🌺
