Did you know that in July, the Association of Journalists of Kosovo - Asociacioni i Gazetarëve të Kosovës - AGK with support from , launched a new report tracking hate speech in Kosovo’s media? 📰

Covering the period from April to June 2025, the Hate Speech in Kosovo’s Media Landscape Monitoring Report sheds light on how divisive narratives — especially those targeting ethnic and political identities — still appear in public discourse, even if direct incitement to violence remains rare.

Hate speech weakens trust, fuels polarization, and undermines human rights. As emphasized by the UN and the UN Special Rapporteur, combating it requires urgent and sustained action.

🧩 Tackling hate speech is key to building a more inclusive and cohesive society in Kosovo.

🎨✨ Voices on the Wall — where art, ideas, innovation, and trust-building meet!

At the observatory in the heart of Pristina, artists from diverse communities across Kosovo came together for a series of practical workshops, an engaging session on AI in art, and hands-on activities to create their own pieces.

This mini-project is part of the UNMIK-supported Youth Assembly 2025 awarded projects — a testament to youth-led creativity and impact.

Through these workshops and sessions, youth activists are building genuine friendships, staying connected, and — most importantly — learning to trust each other. Art helps break barriers and bring young people closer together.
