Domino Effect - A chain reaction, when one event sets off a series of events. Our history and politics is marked by several of those. Instead of band-aid or reactionary solutions, real effort should go in fixing what actually caused it in first place.
May be then we will be avoid cyclical catastrophes that continue to happen over and over again, often for the exact same reasons as the times before.
