CARLOS ALCARAZ WINS WIMBLEDON 2023.

The 20 year old Spaniard is the new Wimbledon Mens Singles Champion having just defeated 36 year old Serbian, Novak Djokovic

1-6, 7-6. 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in 4 hours and 42 minutes!!

It's like the end of an era really as the Serb has all but owned Wimbledon over the last decade, certainly a wonderful final which held the crown enthralled throughout, and is now over for another season.

ALL clubs, however some more than others, MUST do a better job of controlling sideline behaviour of spectators AND teams...

ALL clubs, however some more than others, MUST do a better job of controlling sideline behaviour of spectators AND teams and ensure POSITIVE SIDELINE BEHAVIOUR only for both senior AND junior rugby and the CMRFU must draw a line in the sand and engage in a zero tolerance stance in order for things to improve. We can all play our part!

By Dale Budge Drastic action needs to be taken to change the culture of referee-bashing in rugby and it needs to start by putting serious repercussions in place for those that go too far.
