blvxrs is a new online lifestyle magazine. There is no office. It’s run and funded independently. The mission of Blvxrs (Believers) Magazine is simple, yet complex. Our goal is to break down the barriers that exist between one person to the next. We aim to do this realistically as opposed to idealistically. We must be aware of the world we live in. We must be honest. We cannot be afraid to “go the
re”! Uncomfortable conversations would be a lot less uncomfortable if people were only willing to really listen, be respectful, and to have open minds. We must respect safe spaces and realize when those spaces aren’t for us specifically. We must not trivialize the pain and struggle of others. Through creating connections, finding common ground, and better understanding the innerworkings of the minds of those we consider different from us, this can be done. However, the aim is to do this while respecting and appreciating our differences, understanding that diversity is beautiful and necessary. We can make change, it’s as simple as believing. How do we do this? How do we connect? Music, movies, literature, comedy, art, beauty, fashion, love, s*x, relationships, health…
