That night, I realized it’s possible to be asleep and still awake in the spirit.

A funny memory crossed my mind recently that left me laughing and reflecting deeply.

One night, my daughter and I were sleeping. I woke up to check on her and saw a mosquito perched on her hand.
As a good mother, I couldn’t let that mosquito have its way! 🦟😅

So, I tried to kill it by gently slapping her hand.
But before I could even blink, this little girl, eyes still closed, gave me a hot slap back! 😂

I was shocked! How could she be that alert even in deep sleep?

Then it hit me…

Lesson learned

God wants us to be spiritually alert.
The Bible says the devil roams about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Before anything happens, God always reveals it to His children.
But the question is, are we alert and sensitive enough to notice when He does?

May God help us stay awake in the spirit, even when life feels peaceful or quiet.
Because the moment we sleep spiritually, the enemy looks for a way in.
Stay sensitive. Stay prayerful. Stay alert. 🙏🔥

Why God’s Delay Is Not Denial

‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬- For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Sometimes God delays not to punish you, but to prepare you. What He’s working on behind the scenes is greater than what you’re praying for right now.

Wait. Trust. Rest. He hasn’t forgotten you.

To Every Woman Waiting on God for the Fruit of the Womb

If you are a TTC mom, if you are trusting and believing God for the fruit of the womb. I want you to know that I understand.

I understand the pain of waiting.
I understand the silent tears, the questions that fill your heart, and the longing to carry your own child.

You are not alone.
Many have walked this same road and God came through for them. He will also come through for you.

Please remember this: God has not forgotten you.
He hears your prayers. He sees your tears. He knows your heart.
And in His own perfect time, He will answer you.

While you wait, do your part:

• Go for the necessary medical checks.
• Run your hormonal profile to ensure everything is fine.
• Encourage your partner to do the same.
Fertility is a shared journey, not a woman’s battle alone.

After you have done your part, leave the rest to God.
He is still in the business of performing miracles.

And to the women who may be past their reproductive years, I want you to know this:
It is not over. Adoption is not a sin.
If God puts it in your heart to adopt, please do.
An adopted child is your child too. They can bring you joy, peace, and pride, just like any biological child.

So, dear waiting mother, hold on.
Do not worry. Do not lose hope.
Your story will not end in tears.
God will visit you, and you will carry your own child in your arms, not just in your prayers.

Keep believing.
Keep trusting.
Your time is coming.

Can You Be Trusted?

Integrity is a rare quality today. But it’s one of the greatest tests of our character.

Years ago, when I was still in Uni. I was in dire need of accommodation.
I met an old friend who had just graduated. She told me she was moving out and that I could take over her apartment if I paid the rent through her, since the landlord wouldn’t accept a new tenant directly.

Because I was desperate, I trusted her completely and gave her a full one year rent to pay to the landlord.

What I didn’t know was that she already owed six months’ rent.

She used part of my money to clear her debt and only paid six months to the landlord on my behalf.

Six months later, the landlord came asking me for rent again.
I was shocked, broken, and deeply hurt.
I felt betrayed by someone I trusted.

That experience taught me a lifelong lesson about integrity.

–Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

–Integrity means being trustworthy, even when it’s inconvenient.

–Integrity means keeping your word and doing what’s right before God.

If she ever happens to see this post, I want to say that I have forgiven you.
It took time, but I let go because holding on only weighs the heart down.

Today, I ask you:
Can you be trusted?
When something is placed in your hands, can you be faithful with it?

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him, Proverbs 20:7

Sometimes you just need to pause, breathe, and remember you’re doing your best.
God sees your effort, even when no one claps for you.

Take a deep breath today. Peace is closer than you think.

Peace doesn’t always mean calm surroundings, sometimes it’s choosing calm in the middle of chaos. When we trust God fully, peace becomes our anchor, not our circumstance.

What verse reminds you to stay at peace when life feels heavy?

MY BODY, MY PRIDE

As a teacher, I have witnessed the way some secondary school girls dressed, skimpy skirts so short that they struggled to bend properly when necessary. It was disturbing to see young girls presenting themselves this way.

Concerned about this, I approached the school secretary and shared my thoughts on the need to caution these students about dressing modestly. But what she told me left me speechless.

She had once corrected a student and even sent her home to dress appropriately, only to be insulted by the girl's mother. Instead of appreciating the effort to instill discipline and values in her daughter, the woman warned the secretary never to correct her child again.

This incident opened my eyes to a deeper issue. if parents fail to teach their daughters the importance of modesty, who will?

Modesty is not just about clothing; it reflects self-respect, dignity, and values. Our bodies are precious and should not be exposed for public admiration. Certain parts of our bodies are meant for our future husbands, not for the eyes of the world.

When you respect yourself, you attract people who respect you. The way you dress speaks before you do. If you expose yourself carelessly, you invite the wrong attention. But when you carry yourself with dignity, you naturally draw those who value you beyond just your appearance.

Let’s teach our daughters that beauty is not in how much they reveal but in the grace, wisdom, and confidence they carry.

Your body is your pride—cherish it, honor it, and guard it with wisdom.

I Caught this precious moment of my husband during the christening of our son, staring at him with so much love. It reminded me of how God looks at us with immense love, delight, and pleasure.

Just as my husband is delighted with our son, God is delighted with us whenever we please him.

1 John 3:1 ‭ ‭KJV‬
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
