Yui Kanan is a professional DJ, model, cosplayer, and young female CEO of professional cosplay company "ONIGIRI PLUS Inc." The company has more than 1200 high level cosplayer registered and have been picked up by various TV medias, newspapers, and magazines. Recently ONIGIRI’s registered cosplayer had work as an official cosplayer with a lot of big companys. After receiving 3rd place i

n the world at WCS 2008 for cosplay performance, she used her skill of cosplay and knowledge in entertainment industries to create very first professional cosplay company in Japan. Working closely with clients from animation/game/manga/local official/NPO/ automobile industries/countries to create a professional work environment for the cosplayer and at the same time make cosplay and cosplayer more accepted in the society. As one of the few English speaking companies with sub-culture understanding, she has been invited by various events as guest DJ/Cosplayer around the world. Her activities in professional entertainment in and outside of Japan had given her an opportunity to be an image cosplayer for 2016-2019 “Tokyo Comic-con” and management companies to run cosplay section and Artist Alley section at the event, including setting official cosplay stage event for Disney with Star Wars and Marvel themes. She believes that all the people are fundamentally good people with unlimited potential to be discovered. She also believes that age, gender, and nationality should not hinder any of your own growth. To prove her belief, recently she had entered “Beauty Japan contest 2019” and received Grand Prix prize for her beauty, as well as the capability of her speech presentation and ideology. She hopes to use this newfound position to be the icon to those who are socially awkward or withdrawn, just like she was when she was young, to be able to express themselves to the world in confidence. Recently, after her appointment as a special teacher, at Digital Hollywood University, she had been traveling to many high schools and universities to recite her experience to the student, and at the same time, she has been working traveling overseas to study on Intellectual property laws and many other ideologies. She also travels around the world as DJ, with her unique style based on popular EDM mixed with a touch of J-pop culture and her original tracks to pursue a new expression in EDM and Cosplay. Knowing that a good party is the best way to bring cultures together!!

【Embassy of Japan in Bahrain: “Emperor’s Birthday Reception Party”】

The other day, I had the great honor of being invited to the Emperor’s Birthday Reception Party, hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain!
The event welcomed over 500 distinguished guests, including royalty, dignitaries, and prominent figures from various fields, reflecting the deep friendship between Japan and Bahrain.

As a guest representing Japanese culture through cosplay, I attended the event dressed in a Bahrain-inspired cosplay outfit!
For many in the Middle East, this was a unique and rare sight, and I was delighted that so many people approached me, asking, “Can we take a picture together?”
Every interaction became a special opportunity to share the beauty of Japanese culture, and seeing everyone’s smiles filled my heart with joy!

To top it off, my appearance at the event was even featured in a Bahraini newspaper, further reinforcing the impact of Japanese cultural exchange abroad!
Moving forward, I will continue using cosplay as a bridge to connect with people around the world and to share the beauty of Japan with an even wider audience!

【在バーレーン日本大使館主催:「天皇陛下誕生日レセプションパーティ】

先日、バーレーンの日本大使館主催「天皇陛下誕生日レセプションパーティ」にご招待いただきました！
会場には、500名以上もの各界の要人、王族、著名人が集い、日本とバーレーンの深い友好関係を感じることができました。

私は、日本文化を象徴する「コスプレ」のゲストとして参加し、バーレーンイメージのコスプレ姿で登場！
中東の皆さまにとっては珍しい光景だったようで、たくさんの方から「一緒に写真を撮っていい？」と声をかけていただきました。
その瞬間瞬間が、日本文化の魅力を伝える貴重な機会になり、皆さまの笑顔を見られて本当に嬉しかったです！

さらに、バーレーンの新聞にも私の姿が掲載され、日本文化の広がりを大きく実感！！
これからも「コスプレ」という文化を通じて、世界中の人々と繋がり、日本の魅力を発信し続けていきます！

＼【錦鯉品評会】／
先日、世界で一番貫禄のある大会である
「全日本錦鯉品評会」が開催されました。
弊社も全日本錦鯉振興会の東京支部として名を連ねさせていただいており、多くの錦鯉業界の大先輩方と一緒に錦鯉の販売と、錦鯉を広める活動をお手伝いをしております^ - ^
今では、平和の象徴や運気上昇、立身出世の象徴として「KOI」や「NISHIKI-GOI」と呼ばれ世界中で人気となってます🩷
品評会ではその中でも、錦鯉のチャンピオンを決める重要な大会で、その国の名だたる富裕層や鯉業界のベテラン層も参加！！
本当に"大人の本気"とはこのこと！

その鯉の生産者である養鯉場さん&取次さんと、オーナーさんが二人三脚となって錦鯉を育てる姿は、
芸能界でスーパースターを育成したいというオーナーと事務所の社長とマネージャーのようです。

とにかく手に汗握る、この一大イベントなのですが、
錦鯉振興会の皆様は重厚感ありながらもとても温かく、この業界と歴史を本当に大切にされているんだなと、生き方のお勉強になります。

錦鯉がどんどん広がりますように！！

[Radio Appearance]
Today, I had the chance to appear on a radio show and reunite with my regular members after such a long time!
Getting to meet everyone face-to-face in the studio after being apart for so long was truly special, and it made me so happy that words can't even describe it.
With remote work and separate projects keeping us apart, being in the same space again, sharing smiles and laughter, reminded me how wonderful it is to have such amazing teammates.
I hope this warm and cheerful atmosphere was conveyed to all the listeners through the broadcast.
I will continue to give it my all, so I truly appreciate your ongoing support!
