The next visit on the list was a personal favourite of ours, although we had somehow not managed to ever officially tick it off. The Barley Mow is a pub split into two halves. On one side a local pub atmosphere, with comfy seating nice beer and friendly staff. Then if you head into the beautiful garden and round to the other side you can find yourselves a great pool table and dart board!
Unfortunately the jukebox which we loved to fill with bangers while we played is no longer there. But the vibe is still good.

The guildhall village has a decent selection of beer and plenty of games and entertainment upstairs. A pleasant surprise this one as we weren't too sure what to expect.

Brewhouse and Kitchen Guildhall was the next port of call. Looking colourful for the football and sporting a good selection of beers and food this pub was a treat.
A lot of the Beer is brewed on site so brewhouse often differs from location to location with what's on offer.

We hit the dockyard up for our next beverage. Amassing a bit of a squad we stormed the place and leveraged a big corner of the pub for ourselves. Good vibes and tons of sports for those Euro lovers. The beer selection isn't half bad and rather large so finding a good pint is easy enough.

The Festing was a last stop at the end of a drinking night.
It's a decent size space and includes a pool table as well as a reasonable selection of beer. The atmosphere can be quite good on a weekend especially when live music is going on. However as we ended up here late one week day evening it was a quiet affair.

Next on the agenda was The Shepherd's Crook, this pub is always pumping on a football day but we found it in a much more chilled state with no sports on.
Sat in the garden and had an enjoyable pint after looking at some of the cool Portsmouth FC stuff scattered around the pub.

Next up was The Harvest Home, we weren't sure what to expect from this little local but surprisingly it was completely empty when we got there. So we enjoyed some good dart boards and had a look at all the Pompey shirts around the pub. Not the most interesting selection of beer but still a little something for everyone.

Something a bit different for this one, introducing special cards! These cards will be fished out for something a bit out of the ordinary, like events or "non pubs". This one was the new location for and we had a great time.
The aesthetic was fantastic and the cocktails were on point! After much deliberation we decided that we wouldn't be amending our beer related statistics so it's worth noting that even though they score low on the beer scales this is only because it's a rum bar with very little beer. The rum however is plentiful and delicious.

The 6th pub on the list is the Golden Eagle. The aesthetic of the pub was lovely and the beer quality was great. Unfortunately it smelled a bit like a toilet where we ended up sitting so we moved outside. But all in all an enjoyable pint.

Staff are great, beer is always varied and superb.
Great pub to play some top trumps in, win giant Easter eggs and play with dogos.

Fourth pub on the long list was this one had a fantastic selection of beer and was absolutely rammed wall to wall. So we promptly dipped outside and sat on the bench out there instead.
As a bonus was opposite so we grabbed some chips to enjoy alongside the pint!
