𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 |

The annual Science Poster Making Contest has been held on Tuesday, September 23, as part of the celebration of Science Month 2025.

Relevant to the theme, "Harnessing the Unknown through Science and Innovation", this activity aimed at encouraging creativity and scientific awareness among students by allowing them to express scientific concepts and advocacies through visual art.

Two representatives per section were selected to participate in the contest, and they were given three hours to finish their posters.

According to Mrs. Jesusa Bilog, a science teacher, the competitors truly unleashed their creativity and it would be hard to favor one over another.

The winners are to be announced during the Science Month 2025 closing program on October 2.

Dahil sa banta ng Tropical Cyclone Opong (Bualoi) sa CALABARZON at pagtaas ng RED ALERT batay sa DILG Codix, walang pasok sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa LAHAT NG ANTAS sa Binangonan, mula Setyembre 25 (Huwebes) hanggang Setyembre 27 (Sabado).

⚠️ PAALALA:

– Manatiling nakatutok sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng LGU at Heavy Rainfall Warnings ng DOST-PAGASA.
– Iwasan ang pagpunta sa mga binabahang kalsada at landslide-prone areas.
– Siguraduhin ang kaligtasan ng pamilya at maging handa sa posibleng emergency.
– Ayon sa Coast Guard Sub-Station Binangonan, lahat ng biyahe sa dagat (anumang uri o laki ng sasakyang pandagat) ay hindi kanselado.

Annual Science Fiesta has been held on Saturday, September 20, as part of the celebration of Science Month 2025, aimed at celebrating science and technology in a fun and engaging way.

In the event, different teams competed by applying techniques and strategies in timed mini-games, after which they answered science-related questions to determine their score.

The highlight of the event was the "Trashion Show," where each team selected a muse. Using recyclable materials collected after completing the 10 game stages, they creatively transformed these materials into "Trashion" pieces for a catwalk presentation on stage.

Indeed, Science Fiesta 2025 was a memorable experience for all participants.

SCI-LENS, an activity using a "science lens" to capture photos, has been conducted yesterday, September 17, among the selected Grade 7 to Grade 10 learners.

This activity aimed at engaging students in active, inquiry-based learning by using photography as a tool for scientific observation, documentation, and communication.

For an hour, the participants took photos relevant to the theme, "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation".

They were also asked to include 1-2 explanation as to what the image is about and how was it related to the given theme.

The three best shots are to be announced during the closing program of Science Month 2025.
