The Green Line is expected to re-open mid-October. However, starting today, you may see trains on the Green Line that say "TESTING". The testing is critical to working out any final kinks before October. Exciting times are just around the corner!

🚆 Green Line train testing begins Monday, September 14. 🚆

Riders may see trains running on the Green Line, but these trains are not in service and are not available for passenger boarding. Trains used for testing will display “TESTING” on the headsign.

Testing and operator training are part of the final steps needed to safely reopen the Green Line, which is expected to return to service by mid-October. Learn more at sacrt.com/GreenLine.

On Thursday, September 11th, the City of Folsom Police and Fire Departments will recognize the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Take the time to attend this ceremony and honor those who lost their lives while celebrating the heroics of the first responders. From now into eternity, we will never forget.

Please join the Folsom Police Department and Folsom Fire Department tomorrow, September 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Folsom City Lions Park, 403 Stafford Street as we come together to honor the lives lost, recognize the courage of those who responded, and commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

If you have any unused animal crates in your home, consider donating them to the Bradshaw Animal Shelter! The shelter has a need for animal crates to help safely transport the animals. Crates can be dropped off at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento! If you don't have any crates to donate, share the news with your friends and family! After all, every crate counts!
